This exhibition features the work o f 12 local artists who have been inspired by scenes and scenery of the Nor th Shore in their work. Media presented include paintings in watercolour\, acrylic and oil as well as limited edition prints. Styles range from rea listic to comic\, with each artist bringing their own interpretation to sc enes that are familiar to many of us.
\nThe works have been brought together to create a 2018 calendar of entirely North Shore imagery\, inclu ding the areas of the City of North Vancouver\, the District of North Vanc ouver\, and the District of West Vancouver. The calendars are a promotiona l and fundraising tool for the upcoming North Shore Cultural Mapping Proje ct\, spearheaded by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council.

The North Shore cultural map will be a free\, dynamic\, online map for residents\, tourists\, local organizations\, urban planners and develo pers. The web-based map will include facilities\, organizations\, events\ , natural and built heritage that makes the North Shore unique.
