MOOC Indigenous People of Canada © NVDPL 2018

Join us for an interactive learning course on Indigenous Canada. This MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) was developed by Indigenous scholars at the University of Alberta. The material will be offered over 9 weeks in a space that will include videos, discussions, and shared insights.

MOOCs are free courses open to anyone. All you need is access to the internet (at home or at the library) and the time to complete them! You can review this course and others on your own but why not come out and hear what others also find interesting as we go through the material.

Facilitator Sherry Boudreau asks that you join her in a conversational journey on Indigenous Peoples of Canada. Sherry is excited to support this learning opportunity as an advisor, facilitator, and First Nation. She will be bringing the experience of helping government employees create community conversations to this interesting MOOC. On the next stage of her learning journey Sherry is currently doing a PhD on how we learn our attitudes towards river systems.

Click register above or call 604-984-0286, ext. 8144 to secure your place. There are 20 spaces available for this course offering.
