Are you expecting a baby? Is there a new baby at your house? There is nothing more useful than having a few rhymes, bounces or lullabies to cheer up your little one, or help your baby settle down for a nap.

Two veteran children's librarians, who have led hundreds of baby and parent programs will teach expectant and new parents, nannies, grand-parents and care-givers a few essentials that might make parenting a whole lot easier! Babes in arms are welcome (of course!)

Presenters:

Libby McKeever is the recently retired Youth Services Librarian of Whistler Public Library and the creator and presenter of their popular "Singing with the babies" program. Together, Libby and Allison are the presenters of the "Snuggle and a song" workshops.

Allison Taylor McBryde is the past Coordinator of Children's and Young Adult Services for the North Vancouver District Public Library. Semi-retired to care for her two grand-children, she still works part time developing collections, presenting Babytimes and Parent Child Mother Goose Programs for NVDPL.
