Everyone welcome! Join us for refreshment, information sessions, and discussion on a variety of topics.

Topic: Social Prescribing Support for Seniors

Angela Sealy, a Seniors Connector from the Parkgate Society, will be joining us to talk about Social Prescribing. Social Prescribing is non-medical method of support for seniors in the community. Angela will talk about how seniors can set up a series of one-on-one meetings with the Parkgate Society to review any challenges that may be affecting their health and will help them gain access to programs and services that meet their specific needs. The program is designed to address social isolation in the senior population and the North Vancouver program serves residents 55+.

Our clients are referred to us by the Vancouver Coastal Health personnel, self, family or friend referral.
